She smiled as Rachelle didn’t stop yelling, she still believed she could have Ethan and his unit step in and defend her. For the past 23 years she’d had those boys under her thumb and doing everything she demanded of them. Seems she couldn’t let go of believing she still didn't have that control over them. She still appeared to think they'd come to her aid, likely thinking all those years had ingrained it into them, and even without the oath they'd react to her words; only it had worked like that.
