She walked Carisma from the War Room to the Alpha’s Office and asked, “How long has William been here inside the pack?”
“He arrived this morning, just after sunrise,” Carisma told her.
“Hid your pregnancy well then?” Ryder mused.
“No, not really, I just didn’t tell anybody who the father was. William didn’t want to keep it a secret, but I wasn’t ready to tell father.” She sighed. “I wanted him to get used to the idea, and come around to being a grandfather. Like the idea of it, and want to be part of my pup’s life, before I told him the truth. Therefore, there would be fewer issues.”
