They’d traveled with Clara and Nile to his home pack up in Tennessee. The place was large and grand and his pack was welcoming and, to their surprise, Alpha Gretta was waiting for them. She’d arrived the morning before they had.
She smiled at Nile, and then to Clara. “He’s got my blood in his veins, he’ll be good to you.” Gretta had smiled. She seemed very happy with the tie of King’s Eyes to her own home pack. This was, in fact, where she originated from, she'd stated, and was once a reigning Alpha/Luna to it.
The King’s Eyes were now actually attached in some way to the Wolfen Council, which was how Gretta had put it. She asked only one thing of them if they could put that in their report that Nile was her kin. Ryder had asked why out of curiosity.
