Everyone in the arena was now looking at Alderon, waiting for him to answer that question. They all knew just from Waylon’s answers, his correction of Alderon’s statement of events that took place, which implied Waylon had set that citadel on fire, with Lorana inside it, and she’d not been able to escape the blue flames and by them.
He’d countered it easily, by admitting he’d done so, but corrected the order of the complaint, Alderon had made to see him get a trial put in place. After many minutes of silence of where he and Alderon just sat staring at each other across the arena, it was the council that spoke words to force his father’s hand, “If you do not speak Alderon, we will make you.”
