His eyes opened, and he felt the warmth of the Dragon Realm all around him, and he found himself in full control of his body once more. Drayton had receded to the recess of his mind, still not willing to talk to him, it seemed. His and Daxton’s lack of faith in his Dryad’s intention had insulted him and this was Drayton’s way of dealing with them.
Waylon sighed to himself and placed a hand on his tree, “Sorry Drayton, in the moment we did not understand what was happening or why you did what you did. I see clearly now that I’m calm.” He apologized to his Dryad. Though he got nothing back from him, it would take time, he thought.
