She and Max shot off across that dining hall after the Luna as she ran from the table. She saw many wolves in this very room go wide-eyed at what they saw. Though this was just the beginning for her, and Paulina knew it, no one ran if they were innocent. Paulina knew that every tiny filthy little thing she'd done was going to be exposed for all inside this pack to see.
Including the Alpha that had taken her as a Chosen Mate, and entrusted her to help him, not only care for, but raise Violet as her own as well. That trust was now about to be shattered in full. She and Max hauled a struggling Paulina out of the dining room and down the hallway, and she actively fought against them.
