“You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you. Do you understand your rights I have just read you? With these rules in mind, do you wish to speak to me?” The cop says with a smile in her voice as she cuffs me.
These rights won’t last long and I can tell she is a rookie cop thinking she has just bagged a big criminal. She hasn’t, but I will play along for now.
“I understand my rights.” I say and then stay silent as I look as Mr Gregory is placed on the stretcher with an oxygen mask on his face. He will live and when he wakes up, he can f*****g tell these idiots I wasn’t the one who tried to kill him.
