Elora’s POV.
During the reception, all who were in attendance congratulated us. We sat side by side during the speeches. Then we had our first dance. I smiled at everyone, feeling like a queen. But my eyes kept landing on my older brother, Dante.
He was drinking and not looking like he was happy to be here. I know things aren’t easy for him at the moment but I know my big brother. He is the strong one out of our siblings. So seeing him look so broken hurts me.
“You ready to head inside?” Conrad asks me as we sway to a slow song. The night is winding down. I’m nervous about what is to come next. Tonight I will lose my virginity. I have been ready for a while now, but Conrad wanted to wait until tonight. I know he is an eager as I am.
