Elora’s POV. “Urgh!” I groan as I roll over and the light is blinding. I rip the quilt back and wince as I move. I feel like I had a fight with a bull and lost. I’m stiff and aching. I need a hot shower and coffee via drip stat. I place my feet on the plush carpet when I hear a grunt and look down. Michael is asleep on the floor, hugging an empty bottle of whiskey. Why is he here? Oh, right, the fight? After he won, we left. He handed me his hoodie, and I grabbed my things and we left the underground fight through a different exit. The hood was pulled up over my head as we walked. Conrad came with us. I made sure he was safe, and he kept asking to talk to me, but I shot him down.
