I stretch my arms over my head and yawn. I open my eyes and blink. I look around my bedroom. I should be pissed at my siblings, but I’m not. If anything, I thank them. Because I was dead on my feet but too stubborn to leave the office.
So when Elora drugged me, I knew it was bad. I hear a whine and tiny growls coming from beside my bed. I roll onto my side and see Angrboda as she tries to jump up. I gasp.
“Oh no, little lady, we don’t jump. You aren’t allowed, not until you are older. We don’t want you to hurt your little leggies. Come here, sweet girl.” I coo as I lift her and place her on the bed. She wags her tail so fast she may turn into a helicopter. I chuckle at her as she attacks my face with kisses and nips.
