“So I would suggest you do one thing and you do it quickly.” I say and all three women gulp as they look at me.
“We’re sorry, please, don’t do this. We were jealous of you. You took his attention as soon as he saw you. Please have mercy.” Mary says and I look at her, then at Jack and he looks devastated.
“Did you even ask what she was carrying when you ran errands and she came back with a box?” I ask him and he sighs and nods his head.
