Jax’s POV.
I move to go after Candy but Axel stops me. I glare at him and he smiles softly at me.
“Let her go. You need to hear all of this,” he tells me and I look from the front door to the woman and kids standing looking at me.
“Candy needs me, she needs us. She doesn’t need this drama. She is still healing and was told to rest by the doctors at the hospital. She can’t be exposed to too much stress, and this is going to be too much.” I explain without raising my voice so the kids don’t get frightened.
“But she just killed Lily, so I would say.”
“She didn’t kill Lily. I did. But Jax is right. Candy needs to be as stress free as possible. Where did she go?” Mic says as she enters the living room from the kitchen. She is clean and her hair is damp. Thank god for that. She looked like
