Mika’s POV. We spent a few hours in the hospital. Lola had x-rays, an MRI, ultrasounds, blood work, height, and weight. Everything was done today. Lola doesn’t have a brain injury, which I suspected she didn’t but the way she is, we wanted to be certain. Her x-rays however, showed a few fractures. Her cheekbone and eye socket. Hairline fractures to four of her ribs and her intercostal muscles are bruised. No fractures to her spine or vertebrae. Her leg is more bruised than anything, no fracture, which is good. But at the same time, everything that Lola has been through is bad. This is not a day to celebrate. Lola is now with us in the restaurant of the clubhouse. The members are giving her sympathetic looks and offering her words of comfort. Thea and I are watching over Lola like guard
