Serurora’s POV. Beep Beep Beep Beep Ugh, I don’t remember setting my alarm. My head feels foggy and heavy. My body feels like I have been through a meat grinder. I’m aching all over, and not the ache of overexertion in the gym, or partying too wild, no, this is different. It is bone deep, and it f*****g stings and burns. I flutter my eyes and they fall closed again so I try again. I blink a few times and look up and see a warm light shining dimly above me. The beeping gets louder and clearer. I turn my head and see a machine tracking my pulse. I move my head slowly back and blink again, taking in the room. Great, it doesn’t take a genius to realise I’m in hospital. I see a shock of dark hair and see my momma as she sits with her head in her hands and her elbows resting on her knees.
