HANNAH I blinked to clear the haze in front of my eyes. Shapes and colours slowly grew clearer. My heart gave a leap when I saw the familiar decor of my room. In that instant, everything came back in a rush. With a groan, I sat up on my bed. Jace's name trembled on my lips. He was the last person I saw before blacking out. I needed to be sure he was okay. He shouted my name and ran over from the other side of the room immediately after he noticed I was up. "Jace," I sighed. "I'm here," he said softly. "It's alright. You're safe now."
