CHAPTER 17:
On the same night (the night after Drake's death), Liam and the rest of the pack can be seen gathered in Drake's mansion front yard.
Liam's POV~
Standing on the edge of one of the fountains, I stared down at the rest of the pack. The looks on their faces showed how devastated they all were. We had lost our alpha. It was beyond devastating to be honest. What hurt me the most was the fact that I warned Drake about kidnapping Noah's kids but he wouldn't listen. Now look how it all ended. However, I wasn't about to give up so easily. I certainly wasn't going to let his death get us down - it was time for me to fulfill my role as the second in command and teach Noah and his pack a lesson they'll never forget.
