Weeks went by with almost a sort of bliss feeling. It was as close to peace as I imagine could be these days. There’s been little activity on our wall, Colt and the guys have figured out everything they need for the emergency shelter.
Levi actually had this brilliant idea to use the trees to get air into the shelters. They’ve been burrowing in the trees that are above the shelter creating holes that go up into the trees. They did it on one and tested the idea to see how it would work with regard to the sounds of the people that would be in there.
Thankfully, the wood muffles the sound enough that you can’t hear anything. Digging these holes in the trees has been a bit of a challenge though. It’s taken them quite some time to get half the trees ready. Getting the last half of t
