It’s been a week since Damon and his pack arrived. He’s only told Colt little bits and pieces about what happened to his pack, but he’s told him the important parts.
The blood suckers basically raped and tortured their way through the pack members, making their spouses watch. No one was prepared for them. Everyone seems so caught off guard when the vamps attack. The element of surprise surely has been on their side. That is what we’re determined to not give them. We’re hoping that since we know they’re coming at some point, that our readiness will catch them off guard and give us the upper hand we really will need in a battle with them.
