“And where are you now?” he directly asked. “I could hear the turbulence of the car—were you chased?”
Hearing this, I paused at how he could easily manage to deduce the current situation I am with now, and since I couldn't lie and I don't want to lie to him either, I decided to let him know the truth.
“We're trying to confuse the enemies following us, moving around the city before coming back to our home,” I calmly answered. “There's two who persists on catching up on us—however, they couldn't catch up.”
“Did they hurt you? Are you injured?” he asked the following questions, despite his tone were cold, I could tell that he was worried especially at the way his voice rise.
I shook my head, and remembering that he couldn't see, I spoke. “I'm not injured, we're safe.”
