I couldn't stop thinking about Holly's story.
On the drive home, my mind kept circling back to everything she had told me. The way Ryan had used her. The daughter he abandoned. The cryptic words he had spoken about replacing someone.
Who was the "him" Ryan wanted to replace?
The more I thought about it, the more pieces started falling into place.
