Sera's POV Something was wrong with Damon. His mood had been low all day. Even after his mother's apology, even after we reconciled, there was a heaviness in his eyes that wouldn't lift. He smiled when I talked to him, but the corners of his mouth would curve up while the rest of his face stayed frozen. Like he was performing happiness without actually feeling it.
