“Has everything gone through?” I asked Roger as I sat in a chair across from him in his office.
“We’re just waiting for the car titles to be mailed to Jessyca. Once she has them, everything is in her name and in her possession.”
“Good. I got a second set of divorce papers two days ago. I told her to take me to court and that I wasn’t signing them.”
“Why?” he asked.
“Because I was trying to buy time for everything to be in Jessyca’s name.”
He sighed. “We were trying to keep this out of a courtroom, Craig. Everything we’ve done is legal, okay. But it’s frowned upon.”
