The pack house was quieter than usual that evening. Most of the warriors had already left after training, leaving only a few guards stationed around the building. Inside his office, Kael stood by the window, his gaze fixed on the darkening forest. But his mind wasn’t on the view. It was on her. Lyra. His wolf had not settled since the training session.
