L E I L A N I After the court adjourned, Ronan walked to a few of the council members to shake their hands and thank them. I stayed where I was, packing my briefcase. I needed to get out of there. I needed to get back to Orion. I could feel Fenrir's gaze on me. I refused to look at him. "Leilani." His voice. Just as deep, just as commanding as I remembered. It sent a shiver down my spine. I finished packing my briefcase, snapped it shut, and followed the other side, away from him. I rushed towards Ronan’s car, ignoring the whispers and stares from the other wolves in the room. I could feel Fenrir's presence behind me. He was following me. He was not going to let this go. "Leilani," he repeated again, his hand on my arm. I stopped, but I didn't turn around. "Let go of me, Fenrir."
