She was in her office once more, sitting looking at her appointment list for the day that her secretary, Dale, had given her. It had been a month and a half since the grand opening, and she’d been very busy with the new designs for Elyssa. Her packhouse was ready to be started and the King’s Eyes pack groundbreaking had happened, not to mention the site visits to other places she was overseeing for builds already underway.
There on today’s list was one Mr Remmington. She didn’t doubt it was going to be who she thought it was, his name wasn’t all that common. Though she was certain that he’d left his first name off that appointment on purpose, maybe in the hope he could pass for a human, or that perhaps she’d forgotten him from their last encounter.
