She felt Nita’s pack tether grow stronger as they turned down the road towards the Dark Wilderness pack, and she reached out and connected with her the moment she knew she would be in mind-linking range. Reached out in the hope she was awake.

‘No, fight with Jace?’ Nora asked. It was on the cards. Nita trained hard like Nora herself did, and she told her she’d love to take a piece of that man. It was possible she tried upon waking up inside that pack.
