Lena's POV
I woke up warm.
Declan’s arm was heavy across my waist and his mouth was pressed to the back of my shoulder. For a second I just lay there listening to him breathe.
Then I heard soft voices from the main room.
Ezra’s low murmur. Nico answering him. Sadie’s quieter laugh. The sound of a mug being set down.
Declan stirred behind me. “Morning.”
“Morning.”
His hand slid up under the loose shirt I’d pulled on sometime in the night. Just rested there, palm open against my stomach.
“How do you feel?”
“Sore. Sweet sore.” I turned in his arms so I could see his face.
“You?”
“Like I don’t want to let you out of this bed.” He kissed the corner of my mouth.
“But your friend is asking for you. And the other two made coffee like they’ve been domestic forever.”
