I’ve never witnessed someone dying before, and let me tell you, it's nothing like what you see on TV. The nurses and the doctor swarmed around Olivia’s body, while her muscles continued to quake so hard that it seemed like her body would jump right off the narrow hospital bed. Two nurses tried to hold her down while Dr. Ramirez injected her with something. Stuff was coming out of Olivia’s mouth, oozing around the tubes, and the machines continued to beep and scratch in alarm. Slowly, the seizure calmed, and the jerking movements slowed down until they stopped altogether. Another medication was injected through one of the IV ports, but Dr. Ramirez was shaking her head. She turned to us and said quietly, “I think you all should step out for a moment.”
