They literally use the whole cow, get it?” she said. “No, I get it. Just dumb,” I told her. “It amuses us. You know, small-town stuff. We had a creek that was orange because of the mines. It turned orange, so we had a little pizza place called Orange Creek because…” Laura said. “The Orange Creek,” I interrupted. “Yep. It’s fun,” she said. I don’t know about that. We pulled into this diner place that looked like it stepped out of the 1950s. We walked into the diner. Laura jumped into a booth, and I followed her, sitting opposite her.
