I can’t believe my little baby is officially one year old! Ever since we got back from our weekend in Pennsylvania with my dad, I’ve been in full party-planning mode.
You only get one official first birthday. Yes, Evan had a preview with my father, which I genuinely loved.
There’s a small amusement park about 45 minutes from my dad’s place, complete with a storybook forest. Instead of attending the covered bridge festival, we opted for the amusement park instead.
The storybooks came to life, and Evan got to meet Mother Goose and even received a little cookie from her. He climbed through a tiny keyhole just to enter her storybook forest. It was a perfect little pre-birthday celebration for a one-year-old.
