Stephen I was awakened by a cat screeching. When did we get a freaking cat? “Laura,” I grumbled as I turned over. “Why did you get a cat?” “Cat? It’s your son, Stephen,” I heard her say. I slowly woke up, blinking as my eyes adjusted. “What?” I asked her. I felt the bed dip; Laura was getting out of bed. I sat up to see that she had gone over to the bassinet we had in our room.
