Lissana continued wandering around the room, running her fingers along the spines of the books without really seeing the titles. She kept reminding herself that Eren had been clear. They wouldn't cross that line until they were married. He had said it with that sweet conviction that characterized him. With respect. With patience.
They wouldn't do anything no matter how much she wanted to.
And yet... the mere fact of being alone with him made her skin burn as if she were on the brink of something inevitable.
She stopped in front of the mirror.
And she almost didn't recognize herself.
Her hair was disheveled, strands escaping everywhere. Dust still on her clothes. The tension etched on her features.
“Oh my God...” she murmured to herself.
She leaned a little closer to the reflection,
