From my side view, I saw Tori give Alera sceptical glances as we walked towards the swamp escorted by the beta.
When I had dropped the news earlier in the day about Sylvian's hideout, Tori was elated. When I had dropped the source of information, she was dumbfounded. I knew she trusted me and trusted in my judgement but the appearance of the witch almost unnerved her. She had obviously never seen a witch before. My calmness seemed to placate her.
Tori stared at the Beta and their eyes met. I also noticed him look at the witch in an unnerving manner. Alera however took notice of their stares though she didn't show it. A small smirk graced her lips as she walked forward.
