Alera groaned as her eyes fluttered open. Slowly, she looked up at my worried face.
"Alpha Kent?" Her voice came out in a hoarse whisper.
I sighed as a smile of relief appeared on my face.
"You gave us a scare there, you know that?" I laughed, placing her back on her feet. Mum walked towards her and gave her a tight hug.
"Don't ever make us worried like that again!" she said as they pulled apart.
"You can say that again." Tori's dad laughed, an arm around his wife. Tori had now moved towards me and I slipped an arm around her. Mr. Wes stood beside Tori's dad, a frown on his face.
