“It smells amazing in there, Woman.”
“Agreed!” I called back.
When the toast popped, I dropped another slice in for Doom.
The man could eat.
I had just finished plating everything when Doom walked into the kitchen with Thane against his shoulder.
One huge hand gently rubbing our son's back.
“Just in time.”
I set Doom's plate at his usual spot, put mine down and refilled both our coffees.
“Hand me Thane while we eat.”
Doom shook his head.
“Eat, Woman. You can have his ass afterward.”
I chuckled.

Doom carefully sat with Thane against his chest and started eating.
