Once we returned to Bailee’s parents’ house, the she wolf mind linked Caden and Hadley, the two werewolves appearing ten minutes later along with Bailee’s sister. Her parents and brother also arrived, everyone shouting over each other as Bailee tried to tell them what happened.
‘How the hell did he get past the guards?’ Jamie-Lee demands, glancing at her Mates worriedly.
‘He had a gun Lee’ Bailee sighs, ‘silver bullets, I think you’ll find a few dead warriors between the border and the house. Plus, despite everything, he was a Beta wolf, he was stronger and if he got each of them alone, he could have taken them out.’
