‘Where is my sweet girl?’ Isaac walks into the beta suite, glancing around the empty room as giggles come from behind one of the curtains.
‘Hmm,’ the Beta says loudly, ‘I though that my baby girl was in here, I could have sworn I heard her, but it seems like I was wrong.’
More giggles, the curtain moving as the two year old fidgets, making the Beta smile as he imagines her pressing her fingers to her lips, trying to stifle the sound.
‘Oh dear’ Isaac sighs, ‘what has become of my little Molly Dolly, did her Mama lose her? Oh no! I will be so sad.’
The curtain shakes from the movement of the little girl’s muffled laughter, Isaac making exaggerated stomping noises with his feet as he moves around the large living room.
