“You dare stand against me? Rogues are meant to die, not to live and disrespect me in my own land.” He says hateful towards Tali and I see her flinch a little, but she still stands tall.
“You will NOT speak of my mate that way.” Tali all but growls, letting her wolf’s eyes flicker for a moment before they go back to her normal dark gray ones.
“Your mate?!” Warrick asks in disbelief and looks at Marie, who is holding Tali’s hand tightly.
“Yes my mate. She has done nothing wrong.” Tali counters and I see slight surprise in Warrick’s face before it turns back to hatred.
“You killed your tutor to be with this. This rogue.” Warrick spits, his anger flaring then turns to me. “What have you done?” He grits out and I can’t help the sass that comes out of my mouth.
