“I don’t understand. Warrick always has a stack of requests to go through on his desk and he is very generous in helping packs.” He answers.
“Do you know where most of the requests are from?” I ask and he takes a second to think.
“I guess from packs within 6 hours of the royal pack.” He answered. “But there are never any requests from anything farther.” He quickly adds.
“That is because these packs have all but stopped requesting help. Some still do because they refuse to deal with us rogues, or have hope, but I have a total of 20 packs that come to me with requests. This doesn’t include other species that I deal with.” I inform him and his brows raise.
“I just.. Something doesn’t add up. We don’t pick through packs based on favoritism. That is not the reason we have a King.” He says.
