After the goddess knows how long and how many bodies, there is a slight break in attack. I look around to see dozens of bodies laying around. I see Sirena calling to the enemy and about half of the remaining enemy warriors run to her. As they pass through a ward, made by the witches, Henry drowns them once they enter. The ward ensures that they cannot run. As I turn, it’s then that I realize that the enemy is more than just rogues, there are pack scents mixed with them. I turn further and see Marie and Tali, fighting four fae, a bear and a wolf, but when I go to make my way towards them to help I hear my angel’s voice. “No! Let him go!” Evan yells as I whip my head in the direction of her voice. In a shimmering gray shield, I see that vile man holding Jaxon with a blade to his throat
