“Get her home now. Don’t worry about me. Just go. She needs to be taken care of.” I say and she nods her head, the last thing I see before she leaves is a tear rolling down her face. I turn to look around. This place is a ghost town. There is nothing but the little wind coming from where the veil is fading. That is something that I didn’t think of before.
