63 ~Eva’s POV Dad looked at me gently, but it only made me feel more irritated. “Your grandfather believes she was meant for something bigger,” he said. “He always said she was special. Even before we saw anything special in her.” “And where did that lead us?” I snapped. “She left. She disappeared. She brought nothing but trouble.
