Adrian’s POV
Looking down at Katie I couldn’t help the surge of happiness that filled my body. For some reason I think a part of me and Julian already knew Katie was ours.
I don’t know how to explain it but, since she first appeared in front of me at that mixer I couldn’t help but be drawn to her.
Only when finding out that she had already been with Draven, even dated him, did the festering darkness I work to keep at bay rear its ugly head again.
I pull the cover up, sitting beside her as I drowned myself in her scent, getting drunk on the knowledge that even though she once was Draven’s, now she’s mine.
I’ll do anything I can to make sure she’s mine completely.
