She closed herself off from everything and everyone inside of Nightfall. Luci understood her mother's words, and a part of her was actually glad to be leaving this pack; to move away and be able to live a normal life. No more having to pretend what she was to anyone, knowing that when Thatcher was old enough that he’d be given the official title as Heir.
