She spent most of her time over the next two days trying to learn the old Wolfen language. It was not so easy a thing to do. Orien had left the pack this morning just before sunrise; she’d felt him leave it.
She also knew that he’d tried to talk to her mother on more than one occasion to no avail; her mother wasn’t talking to anyone at all. Luci had once again heard Orien snarl “It’s not my fault Addison, you know that. Luci made the mistake of f*****g Victor.”
Luci herself had shot in between them to stop her mother from striking her own mate, and she herself had yelled at the pair of them to “Just stop it.”
