They were back inside Nightfall for a mating ball; it was good to be here. He’d not seen Luci in two months, and texting her and calling her was not enough for him. He wanted to see her, to lay eyes on her, and though he had managed to get her to accept a video call; just a few days ago, and actually see her for himself.
Something he’d been happy about and had told her, himself, that they would be there for the mating ball in her home pack, she’d smiled at him; had already known.
