The metal door slammed shut behind us, and every light in the corridor turned red.
I stared at the dead monitor, watching the countdown continue across its black screen, while a low mechanical rumble vibrated beneath my boots.

"Tell me that's a countdown to someone's birthday." I said, reaching for my knife.
"Callum, get the warriors out and find another exit." Damon ordered as he moved towards the corridor.
