"You opened the seal?" I asked.
"I thought I could save your sister. Her body was failing. The First Alpha's consciousness had begun consuming her from within, and the researchers wanted to terminate the experiment." She said.
"So you opened it anyway?" I asked.
"I thought I could transfer the consciousness into the seal before it killed her." She said.
"And Dad?" I asked.
"He tried to stop me." She said as my stomach twisted.

"What happened to my sister?" I asked and my mother looked at the glass chamber.
"She died." He said.
