We were sitting in the office, having coffee now that Dad was over his fainting spell. I knew how he felt, I did the same, though I had not expected it from Dad, but he still surprises me every now and then.
‘Hey Madison, you mentioned something about how Deep Earth people become alpha.’ Dad said, my ears pricked up, how do they pick their alpha?
‘I was confused at first because I made assumptions. Peggy was saying how her daughter was going to be the next alpha of her pack, and I assumed it was because she was the firstborn, and she agreed that it did not matter if it was a girl or a boy that was to be the next alpha. However, it had nothing to do with firstborn, that was where I had made an assumption.’ Madison started and Graham jumped in.
