Jessie’s POV
It’s been a few days, and we haven’t had any new developments about where Joseph or Simon is. The only good thing is that Violet was denied bail and there is no one around that is willing to bail Samantha out, so they are both in prison awaiting trial.
Cassy and I had just returned from visiting Violet senior. She really is a nice lady. We ended up explaining everything to her, even though I didn’t want to. She wanted to know and she deserved the truth. We also told her about Samantha. Vargas agreed to set up a meeting with the psychiatrist that Samantha is seeing, so she could meet her. She didn’t want our help, but Cassy is very convincing and sweet, she had to give in.
